Financial and corporate communication firm, Financial & Corporate Relations (FCR) has rounded off the year with three prestigious awards at last night’s PRIA National Awards Ceremony in Brisbane.
FCR’s work for Egypt’s National Navigation Company (NNC) saw it crowned as Australia’s best campaign of the year and receive the top national award for issues management and crisis communication.
FCR’s innovative strategy that involved direct communication with NNC’s stakeholders is believed to be the first time that a PR consultancy has succeeded in removing the blacklisting of a foreign company.
Anthony Tregoning, FCR’s managing director, said, “We are particularly honoured to have received these awards in a year where there were some very creative consumer and not-for-profit campaigns. It was a team effort of which all of us at FCR are very proud.”
The firm has also been highly commended for its work in establishing Market Vectors’ Exchange Traded Funds brand in the Australian market. This made FCR the only financial and corporate communication consultancy to be recognised three times during the evening.
During the past twelve years, FCR has received nine top awards from the PRIA and has been highly commended six times.
The PRIA National awards night was held last night at Brisbane Convention Centre.
